Quick decision (TL;DR)
- Call 119 now if it may be life-threatening (trouble breathing, severe chest pain, unconsciousness, heavy bleeding, etc.).
- Call #7119 (if available) if you’re worried but unsure whether you need an ambulance.
- Call #8000 for pediatric telephone advice when a child becomes sick at night/holidays (hours vary by area).

Call 119 immediately if you notice any of these “red flags”
- Trouble breathing / blue lips
- Severe chest pain
- Unconsciousness / severe confusion
- Heavy bleeding
- Signs of stroke (face drooping, arm weakness, speech difficulty)
- Seizure that won’t stop
